St. Patrick’s Day Parade + Party
March 10 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
March with the Friendly Sons & Daughters in Philadelphia’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade! We are excited to participate in the parade with our own float AND the largest inflatable St. Patrick balloon in the US! We need 40 (or more) volunteers to help guide the balloon through the parade. Please note on our sign-up form if you are able to take a shift during the parade.
Bring your family and friends and join in the fun.
After the parade, we will join our friends from The Philo, Irish American Business Chamber & Network, Irish Diaspora Center, and Brehon Law Society for a family-friendly parade party!
Parade Logistics:
– The Society is in Division 1, group 74. Please meet our group on the North Side of JFK Blvd between 16th & 17th Streets.
– Volunteers, please meet at 8.45 am to prepare the balloon.
– Gathering time for – 10.15 – 10.30 am
– Suggested Parking – in the area of 19th/20th & Walnut Streets (to be near the post-parade party)

Party Details:
– Open House at The Philo (1923 Walnut Street, Philadelphia) from 2 – 7 pm
– Irish music from the duo Killen & Clark
– Snacks & Refreshments
– Cash Bar
– $15/person • $25 for 2 people • $35 for a family
