The Society recently established a $25,000 restricted account for the Philadelphia Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA). The Fund will support the GAA by offering financial assistance with their youth program enrollment and participation dues, scholarship awards, and encouraging new and sustained participation in Irish sport, namely Gaelic Football, Hurling and Camogie. Society board members will be presenting this donation on Friday at the Continental Youth Championships (CYC) on Friday, July 26th.
The CYC is a Gaelic Games Tournament that takes place on an annual basis in the United States and is the biggest tournament of Gaelic Sports Outside of Ireland!
