September Quarterly Meeting

As we gather for our September 2026 Quarterly Meeting, we look forward to reconnecting after the summer, welcoming new members and friends, and looking ahead to an exciting year to come.

Since our founding in Philadelphia in 1771, the Friendly Sons and Daughters of St. Patrick has brought together those of Irish heritage and affinity to celebrate our shared culture, support charitable causes, and foster the friendship and fellowship that have defined our Society for more than 250 years.

Our quarterly meetings are about much more than Society business. They’re an opportunity to strengthen the connections that make the Friendly Sons and Daughters so special while learning more about our ongoing work in scholarship, benevolence, Irish culture and community service.

Join us to hear the latest Society updates, share in some lively conversation and camaraderie, and enjoy a special presentation from our guest speaker, Supreme Court Justice Daniel McCaffery.

Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Daniel D. McCaffery
In January, 2024, surrounded by his children, Justice McCaffery took the oath of office administered by his brother, retired Supreme Court Justice Seamus McCaffery. McCaffery and his brother are the only two siblings to have served on the court in its 302-year history.  Justice McCaffery is the 179th member to serve on the Court and the 16th Superior Court judge elected to the Supreme Court.
