As members of the Society of the Friendly Sons and Daughters of Saint Patrick, we have always believed in the power of community, compassion, and helping our neighbors in times of need.
Today we ask you to join us in supporting a very special young woman, Mary Grace Sheaffer.
Mary Grace is 14 years old and lives with spastic-quadriplegic cerebral palsy. Her family is undertaking a major home renovation project to make their home fully accessible so she can move freely, enjoy greater independence, and participate fully in family life.
Imagine needing assistance to enter a room, access a bathroom, prepare a meal, or simply invite friends into your home. An accessible home will help remove many of those barriers and create opportunities for independence that every young person deserves.
